4. Packing only essentials in your suitcase

When I say essential, only pack essentials as you don’t want to take so many bags around the world. Remember, travelling with kids is a lot easier with less baggage.

Note: Remember to pack lightweight, compact items and avoid over-packing as much as possible. Consider packing items like towels and bedding, depending on your accommodation arrangements.

5. Check documents

Before flying with kids, it is important to thoroughly check all travel documents to ensure a smooth and stress-free trip. This includes passports, visas, and any necessary travel approvals for each child, as well as the accompanying adults. Make sure that the documents are up-to-date, have enough validity for the entire trip, and contain accurate information.

If travelling internationally, it is also a good idea to check the entry requirements of the destination country and any specific documentation that may be needed for minors. Additionally, it’s advisable to make photocopies of all travel documents and keep them in a separate location in case of loss or theft. By carefully checking all travel documents ahead of time, you can avoid potential delays or issues at the airport and have peace of mind during your trip with the kids.
