Things to do in Honiara

Honiara is more of a working town however the locals like to relax on weekends by going to the beach. There are a few great spots out of town as well as hike tours, I have linked them below

Culture

The Solomon Islanders comprise diverse cultures, languages, and customs. The majority of the island groups is Melanesian, with a small percentage of Polynesian and Micronesian island groups all scattered across the Solomon Seas. Additionally, there is a small minority group of Chinese and Europeans , and I am the descendants of these two groups . This nation was a former British Protectorate, therefore the evidence of this historical past is still there with cocoa, coconut and palm oil plantations on almost every main island. The main language spoke is English however there is a total of 120 vernacular languages spoken.
