The Pyramids of Giza
Let’s delve into the captivating history of the Egyptian Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx. These ancient marvels, constructed over 4,500 years ago by the skilled hands of the ancient Egyptians, stand as enduring symbols of their civilization’s ingenuity and mastery of architecture. The Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, is believed to have been built for Pharaoh Khufu and is the largest of the three pyramids. Accompanying it are the equally impressive pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. As for the Sphinx, it is a mystical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human, believed to represent the pharaoh Khafre.
